To start off a search of your ancestry, begin at any of the Wisconsin family history centers which could be found around the state. Those facilities are owned and managed by people of the Wisconsin LDS Family Search, who work as volunteers that provides training programs and stay on site to respond to your questions within the office hours. Speaking of hours, they will move from location to location, so call the office close to you before going over.
